Lace

I miss the craftsmanship of old clothing. I have this fantasy of one day learning to make Irish lace, I'm interested in the handwork that is put into certain aspects of clothing design. Despite the state of our industrial culture, machines can never replace work done by hand.

I love Imelda Marcos, she had been labled a killer and a crazy bi-otch, but there's something about her that captures my imagination and for some reason she makes my soul cry. She's the pacific's answer to Evita Peron.
